We often have to deal with integration of different
devices while developing automation systems. A good
example is the system for selling automation where Point
Of Sale (POS) subsystem is implemented. The system supposes
software control over the following devices:
Barcode reader. It is usually used
to read barcodes from product items and visitor cards.
The software gets the barcode whenever operator swipes
the reader over the product item code.
Credit Card
Reader. It is usually used to get credit card
information of a person purchasing products or services
in the real time mode. The software handles credit card
information every time operator swipes the card.
Checks printer.
It is usually used to get paper indicating where and
which products were bought or sold, what the change
was etc. Systems we provide consist of high performance
central database that processes requests from POS, accounting
application, order processing application (for services)
etc.
Digital
Photo Cameras. These devices are used in system
for creating identification cards or in other systems
required interacting with digital cameras. Software
developed by us for collecting and storing personal
information in the database, acquiring photos from any
digital device, designing cards and posters and also
perform high quality optimized packet printing. It supports
Canon PowerShot, IXUS, EOS, Olympus, Fuji and other
digital cameras being able to acquire videos or photos.
Fingerprint
scanners. Some data collection and security
systems require interaction with fingerprint scanners
for data storing and processing. We have all necessary
experience for integration of these devices.
